In all cases in which the driver has to start a period other than driving, because he is engaged in other tasks, in times of availability or for a break or rest and the vehicle remains in his exclusive availability, he has the option of leaving his card inserted inside the digital tachograph. HOWEVER, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO MANUALLY ENTER THE COUNTRY OF THE END OF SHIFT AND THE MORNING AFTER THE COUNTRY OF START OF SHIFT. The penalty for this oversight is 52 euros for each day, be careful!
